These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to OwnIt, a franchise investment discovery and deal platform operated as OwnIt. They are a production-quality draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public launch.
OwnIt helps investors discover franchise opportunities, match with franchise brands, message after a mutual match, and progress conversations in a Deal Room. OwnIt does not sell franchises, collect investment funds, provide legal, financial, or tax advice, or guarantee that any match will become an investment.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your password confidential. Investors and franchise brands are responsible for the content they publish, including listing economics and profile data. Email verification confirms control of an email address; it is not listing approval or identity KYC.
You must not post misleading information, spam other users, impersonate a brand, or use OwnIt to commit fraud. We may moderate listings, hide content, or suspend access for Terms violations. Reporting a listing, profile, or conversation concern does not automatically ban anyone.
Franchise listings appear on Discover only when they are active and approved by OwnIt review. Match percentages are based on structured profile and listing fields. They are not an AI recommendation and are not a statement of investment quality.
Deal Rooms, shared notes, meetings, and inbox messages are tools for the parties. Closing a Deal Room as won or lost records a status on OwnIt; it is not proof of payment, escrow, or a signed franchise agreement.
Paid plan names (Free, Pro, Enterprise) describe software entitlements inside OwnIt. While Demo Checkout is enabled, OwnIt does not collect real payments. Completing a demo checkout does not create a charge on a card. Production payment terms will be added if a live payment provider is connected later.
OwnIt is provided as-is for private beta and subsequent public use. We may change features, pause access for maintenance, or correct inaccurate listing data when we become aware of it.
